Carbohydrates
A Carbohydrate is one of the main components that make up food. A Carbohydrate is a sugar molecule, this provides your body with energy for everyday activities.
Your body takes Carbohydrates and breaks them down into glucose. Foods that contain lots of carbohydrates are baked goods, some vegetables, fruits,
milk, pasta, and beans. Carbohydrates help give your body energy and can also help you gain muscle and regulate your blood sugar.
Carbohydrates are very important for your body!
