What are Fat's in Food?

 Lipids; also known as fat are often found in food. Most lipids are known to be canola, corn, soy, peanut, and olive oil. 

Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat. Foods that contain lots of healthy fats include avocados, nuts, olive oils, and fish. Unhealthy fats include saturated fat and trans fat. foods in this category include margin, shortening, fried foods, and baked goods.

Fat is very helpful for our bodies and we need it to stay healthy. Fat helps the body absorb vitamin A, vitamin E, and vitamin D. Fat also gives your body energy and helps your cells work. Fat is a very important part of our diet.
